We are sending this invitation to you to inform you of The Class of 2024 Luther B. Smith East High School Hall of Fame inductees. The Hall of Fame represents Akron East High School graduates from at least 15 years ago who have made significant contributions in academic, community or athletic endeavors. The Class of 2023 includes the following individuals:
ELVIN BUTLER – Class of 2010 – Basketball achievements at EHS/College
HOWARD CURRY – Class of 1964 – Achievements as football official high school and college
SAMUEL DUDICH – Class of 1960 – Achievements as football official high school and college
DARIUS GRICE – Class of 1976 – Achievements in football at EHS/Semipro/Coaching
SANDRA JENKINS – Class of 1971 – Achievements in financial analysis/missionary service
THOMAS LANTZ – Class of 1970 – Achievements in baseball EHS/Major League
ABBY MARIE MORRISON – Class of 2002 – Achievements in volleyball/softball/EHS/College
MONTANIZE WOODS – Class of 2010 -Achievements in basketball EHS/College
This group will be honored at activities on Thursday April 25, 2024. We hope that classmates, friends, and family may be interested in attending some or all of the activities honoring them. The activities include:
