The Alumni Association would like to announce a new award to be handed out each month which will be called the “Spirit Wins” award. This award will have the following criteria: 1) Candidate must be an Alumnus of East High School 2) Candidate has shown a history of promoting spirit related to East High School 3) Candidate has been involved in an action which results in something positive for East High School 4) Candidate has been involved in an action which results in something positive for a fellow East High Alumnus. Please post on this Facebook page or contact the board on our website (akroneasthighalumni.org) to nominate a candidate.
The board would like to announce our first “Spirit Wins” award for the month of October 2023. The winner is the class of 1973 which donated $3,185 to the Alumni Association. The fundraising was spearheaded by Alan Swank. Thank you, Alan and the class of 1973.
