· First play was performed at Goodyear Junior High when she was a student. (James Ingram performed as a main character/performer)

· Multiple national award-winning playwright

· Founder and executive director of Sight Ain’t Seeing Productions (SASP) a 501-C-3 that creates African-American faith based plays and workshops.

· Founder and artistic director of Jeanette W. Hill Productions LLC

· Creative activist recognized for stories that bring awareness of social justice, community/family and mental health issues for Black communities

· Recipient of the Black Pearls Magazine Literary Excellence Award

· Recipient of Urban Playwrights United Soaring Eagle Award

· Created Believe Beyond Boundaries a creative arts summer camp for middle and high school age youth to write and develop original plays.

· United States participant in 2009 and 2011 International Kuumba Summit

· 2020 South-Central Regional Conference Women’ s Ministry Honoree

· City of Austin Cultural Arts Funding Awardee 2001 through 2021
